Real Science?

As we point out constantly, truthers split into all sorts of little groups, some of which pretend to greater standards than others, but all of whom share the same basic crackpot ideas. Richard Gage's Architects and Engineers pretend to be a group of professionals, but yet they still belong to a fringe movement. An example of this is their recent announcement on their website that they will be delivering a presentation at the Conscious Life Expo.

In February AE911Truth will be joining other speakers at the Conscious Life Expo on Feb. 12 from 8-10pm in LA.

I had never heard of this, so I figured, well this must be some sort of scientific conference of building professionals or something, in order for such a distinguished organization to show up there.

Uhh, OK. Not really. But if you want to attend you can also see lectures on such fascinating scientific subjects as "Alien Timelines: Their Effect on Us", "2012: A Vibrational Choice", and my personal favorite, "The Ark of the Covenant, an Extraterrerestrial Machine?".

Three words: "potential growth market."

"We'll bring the educational presentation right to your architectural or engineering firm on Friday at noon!...We'll even provide a great lunch!"

This becomes more of a circus every week. What kind of architects or engineers can't afford lunch, or would be willing to suffer some lunatic rave on about Evil Government Conspiracies for the sake of a free lunch?

And as to this alleged "great lunch", I notice they don't provide a menu. It would have to be something pretty good.

Triterope got it right.

It's a good move by the truthers; the Saturday of the expo has a number of ufology workshops, and with that mind-set (government cover-ups, etc.), it's an ideal market for their nuttiness.

As their inherent dishonesty makes it easy for them to make their claims appear genuine, it'll gain them a few more supporters.

They'll then inflate this number to show how many more people 'support' the troof moovement.

Yes, a few big banners will create more 'EPIC banners at Life Expo!' comments and YouTubes, but they'll still remain a bunch of conspiracy fruitcakes.

And, that doesn't matter; they know they are marginalized, and for all the rhetoric, they like it that way - supermen against the world, etc.

Being at the event could be one of the (very) few things they have got right.

Then again, knowing their amazing clusterfuck ability, they could also completely screw it up.

Could be some very funny videos coming out of this!

How hard can it be to register as a vendor at something like this instead? Why are they focusing on hippies instead of trying to recruit architects and engineers?

" Why are they focusing on hippies instead of trying to recruit architects and engineers?"

I think t e answer is fairly obvious. Hippies by and large are the product of post modern nonsense and are about "fighting the establishment". A convention that is explicitly targeted towards people who actually are knowledgeable might result in them getting called out. Can't have that.

Ahh the sweet wooo...

"Interesting Facts

* The towers came down ten floors per second, contrary to the laws of physics.

* No steel-framed building has ever collapsed from fire.

* The Bin Laden family was allowed to fly out of the US after the attack.

* The surveillance tapes showing what happened at the Pentagon crash site have not been made public, a decade after the incident."

Hmmm, you noticed John Heard but missed Michelle Phillips?

RGT, your interest in male body parts parallels only that of the comedy team of Willie Rodriguez and Kevin Barrett in my recent experience. Do you have something in common with those people?

Sounds like you're the expert. I don't know about your recent experiences with those guys.

And I'm probably the most civil person to you here, so mind your damn manners. No need to start up with me.

My experience with those guys is that they like to talk about the same body parts you like to talk about.

I guess you're saying people often call you a dick? Sorry to hear that. I don't think you're a dick, for what it's worth. I think you're just a harmless kook with excellent grammar but underdeveloped social skills.

I am sorry to disagree with you but I think Brian Good is a potential criminal, a psychopath waiting to explode and should be watched and reported. A bona Fide Stalker, He may kill his own truthers, then again, no loss.
